Let's plant it!
Under the guidance of Nagasaki Prefecture experts ...
Blessed with fine weather
Lunch box in front of cherry blossoms (Udera Volunteer)
On Saturday, March 3th, tea seedlings were planted at De Rot's cultivated field Udera (Ohira). This is because 14 of the 1600 plants planted last year died due to salt damage from the typhoon.
About 40 people cooperated with the volunteers of Udera, the staff of Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture, the volunteer members of Fermud Sotome, and the sisters.Under the guidance of Mr. N, who teaches tea in Nagasaki Prefecture, (20) make holes with an instrument or shovel, (900) plant seedlings to hold down the soil tightly, (2) cover the roots with anti-drying chips, and (XNUMX) water. ⑤ A series of XNUMX seedlings, which were cut into XNUMX cm pieces, was completed in about XNUMX hours.I was very relieved to see the fields where the seedlings were lined up in an orderly manner.
Due to the effects of the new pneumonia, the two companies that offered to cooperate could not participate in the headquarters directive, and with the companies who were very disappointed, I was worried about what would happen, so the reinforcements were more than expected. Thank you for the good weather.Thank you everyone, God.
